Aerial Hammock Contraindications & Hammock Requirements

1. INVERSIONS

INVERSIONS, i.e. going upside down, are offered in all AERIAL HAMMOCK Fitness classes and Private sessions - they are not mandatory but make up a good deal of the repertoire.

There are many benefits to inverting but it is not for everyone or might not be right for you right now.

This list of contraindications looks huge but it's necessary to make sure that you're aware of the risks and it's my job to keep you safe.

Some of these would seem quite obvious, for example, if you've suffered a recent head injury. Some of them have to do with how you are right now, if you have sinusitis you are most definitely not going to want to go upside down!
