First - and this is very important to keep you safe - Before you book a session, please make sure to click here and read about the contraindications of working in the aerial hammock. This mostly has to do with going upside down and inverting which is not for everyone.
What to wear and what NOT to wear:
What you should wear:
- Workout shirts with sleeves that cover your armpits and full length pants that cover your legs. This will protect your sensitive skin from any friction. Cotton or cotton blend fabric is best (non-slippery). Say no to hammock rash.
- Tops: Remember, you will be tipping upside down so wear something that is not too loose or too short and that you’ll feel comfortable in.
- Bottoms: If wearing tights make certain they are opaque (non-see through) and if you wear sweats, tight cuffs around the ankles is best.
- Men, skins under your pants is a good idea for comfort and modesty.
- Bare feet or grippy/sticky socks only.
But wait, there's more...
Important: The Harrison AntiGravity® Hammocks I use are an expensive and manufactured with a unique one way stretch fabric - they snag easily so...
- please ABSOLUTELY NO ZIPS in pants or tops
- please NO JEWELLERY or watches as these can snag the hammocks. If you wear jewellery that cannot be removed can you please cover it with a band-aid or some athletic tape to avoid it catching on the fabric (smooth rings or sleepers are OK).
- Keep makeup and perfume to a minimum as you will be inside the hammock during your session
- please not too much makeup and no fake tan as it is impossible to remove from the hammocks.
Remember to bring an open mind and your sense of fun!
